The CARES Act established and funds the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF).  Moraine Valley Community College has been awarded just over $3.5 million through the Institutional portions of these grants.  The funds are to be used to cover any costs associated with significant changes to the delivery of instruction due to the coronavirus with certain restrictions on how the money may be spent as described in the CARES Act.  Quarterly reporting of how the funds have been spent is to be posted on the college’s website starting on Oct. 30, 2020, for funds spent through Sept. 30, 2020, and each quarter thereafter.  Below are the links to the quarterly expense reports:
